The BI 900 is equipped with an enhanced version of the BM 900 Kepler microscope offering 10x and 16x magnification. The optical quality allows detail-rich and excellent clinical view while the maximized diameter of the eyepiece ensures a fatigue-free examination.

Integrated contrast enhancing filter

Fluorescein-yellow filter technique at hand

The BI 900 is equipped by default with a yellow barrier filter in front of the microscope. If selected, it provides additional contrast for fluorescein applications leading to contrast-rich, sharp and clear images.

LED illumination

Powerful lighting for a sharp & homogenous slit

All current Haag-Streit slit lamps are equipped with powerful LED illumination creating a very sharp and homogenous slit. The tilting frame allows good posterior segment observation, while the defocusing option enhances observation with indirect illumination..
