On-site or Service Center – we take care of it
We appreciate that time is essential to you and, therefore, make every effort to keep downtime to a minimum. Most upgrades can be carried out swiftly and conveniently at your site.

On occasions when the device is required to travel to our Service Center, we are pleased to offer loaner devices, while the upgrade is carried out, so that you are never without a Haag-Streit device.

Regardless of the Upgrade Kit you choose, relax knowing that your upgrade is handled by a Haag-Streit Accredited Service Engineer who is fully trained to make the necessary adjustments.

Lenstar Upgrade Kits

Benefit from enhanced illumination plus other value-adding upgrades

Upgrade your Lenstar 900 from “green light” to “white light” and enjoy all the benefits of reliable, high-quality color images when taking white-to-white measurements. This illumination upgrade provides greater detail of anatomical landmarks and orientation in the surgical planner and in the OR.

Moreover, this Upgrade Kit provides a gateway into additional enhancements and accessories, such as the ability to add a T-Cone. The T-Cone topography accessory supports the identification of irregular astigmatism and allows double-checking on the axis position. Together with enhanced illumination, this upgrade enables well-informed IOL selection and increased safety of toric IOL surgery.

Plus, when you upgrade, our Accredited Service Engineers carry out a complete check of the measurement units in your device – returning a factory-calibrated device that’s as good as new.

Lenstar APS Upgrade Kit

Axial length measurement made simple

Transform your biometry examinations with our Automated Positioning System (APS) for the Lenstar 900. This Upgrade Kit motorizes the Lenstar’s measurement process for effortless maneuvering and focus. As soon as the patient looks into the Lenstar, the APS tracks the patient’s eye, and the measurement is taken with one click of the joystick. Taking quick, accurate measurements enables easy delegation and efficient patient flow in a busy practice.

Please note that you must firstly upgrade your Lenstar illumination from “green light” to “white light” to take advantage of this Upgrade Kit.

Slit lamp LED Upgrade Kits

The cleaner, greener, cost-saving solution

Our slit lamp LED Upgrade Kits are very popular with customers, and for good reason: switching older tungsten bulbs to LED can save you money, as well as reducing negative impacts on the environment. Long-lasting LEDs provide stable, brilliant illumination for up to 150 times longer than tungsten – reducing the time and cost of routine bulb changes, while also providing an energy saving of around 60%.

Available for the BQ 900, BP 900 and BM 900 slit lamps: simply tell us your slit lamp model and we will talk you through the configurations available – considering your preferred power supply, illumination settings, and headrest type.

Moreover, this Upgrade Kit also automatically extends the slit height from 8mm to 14mm, making it possible to carry out specific diagnostic procedures, such as those required for laser surgery.
